Dana Kosich was destined to be in design; it is literally in her blood. Daughter of an architect and an interior decorator, Dana graduated from Ryerson University with a Bachelor of Interior
Design and Applied Arts in 1992. Shortly after graduating and while still working for various interior designers and architects she founded Hiatus Design. Eventually, in order to keep up with her
growing client list, Hiatus Design became her focus and she incorporated the company in 2000.
Still considered a small company, Hiatus Design Ltd. is comprised of Dana (senior and principal designer), two intermediate designers, a design administrator and an administrative assistant. Though many opportunities to expand have arisen over the years, Dana prefers to stay small and selective providing an intimate personal experience for her clients.
